Bio

Hey, Im a personal trainer and sociologist creating the next model of community health centers. Looking for big heart(a giantess of a heart!), big brain, and plenty of spontaneity.

I actually left Christianity (Methodist) when I was 21. I was a free thinker and when I realized I had no proof for my belief, I tried for while to find it. The answers I was given, as well as the lack of answers I could find finally pushed me into the painful state of a paradigm shift.

I find religion to be a blight on humanity, but my understanding and love for Christians is separate from that; having a deeply Christian extended family that I love and commune with helps develop that too I suppose lol. Can't deal with sermons though, like nails on a chalkboard to me. But I do miss the community of a church. Community is such a powerful and helpful force and so while I envy the church for that, it's exclusive ideological basis (no matter how 'open' a church can say it is, it's for Christians) leaves a bit to be desired for anyone different.
I want to try to make something that is the inclusive approximit for a diverse community, minus the dogma, with emphasis on lifting up the poor and communing. That's kind of where I come from and explaining that on this site probably goes a lot farther in telling my story than on any other dating site lol.

I see atheism so far best understood in a matrix with the answering of two questions: belief and knowledge.

Not a big fan of horror genre or much country, though folk or some classic can be fun, especially in the right context. Zombies and Stranger Things are an exception.

Huge nerd. I laugh when I get injured, which is probably more often than you think, but less a big deal than you think. Mountains are where my 'soul' lives. I train so that I feel contently able, pride, and so that I can protect others. I use to teach taekwondo, still play D&D, use to play a lot of video games but not as much other than the occasional LoL. I prefer academic non-fiction, news, and memes for reading. Looking to learn violin after I get my business off the ground, and want to learn a new style of martial arts again. Need to learn more dancing; could use a dance partner Heard it's great for the sex life. Also kids are often more interesting than adults at parties, so I'm looking for a partner that breaks that general rule, and to harass kids with. And doges. And kitties. Really, just everyone.
