Just joined. Excited to find this group. I live in a small community where diverse views are hard to come by.
I just found this place the other day, and I fell in love with. I just had to join.
Welcome. I am also divorced from Lutheranism. I remember as a kid having to go to 2 years worth of catechism classes. I hope you enjoy comments and posts. Some are a lot of fun and some are educational in entertaining ways. Have fun!
Enjoy your stay, there are lots of different points of view and a bias towards evidence-based discussion.
@BeachChick66 I hope so, and- I think you will.
Yes! I just joined too and I also live in a very small community and in the south were being anything other than Christian is often frowned upon. Welcome!
Yes it can be for sure and especially in the dating scene. It's very disappointing when someone finds you attractive and interesting but they can't get past the religion thing, right?
Nice to meet you too.
Welcome! Now, you have an outlet to the world and we're all sharing something very significant.
Hi, BeachChick,
You earn website points, and help other members get to know you better, when you write an informational profile and answer all the profile questions, since that's the first place many people look when they see a new member.
Also, the website uses your profile to find member matches, so the more details you include, the better the match.
Then you make comments and write your own posts to earn more points, and when you reach level two you can private email people. You get different perks with different levels, and when you reach level eight you get an agnostic T-shirt.
To find members near you, click on the "Meet" button at the top of the page, then on "Members," and enter your preferred search parameters.
Or click on the "About" button at the top of the page to find links to FAQ or the website tutorial.
