Totally agree. One of my touchstones throughout life has been don't trust anyone who doesn't like dogs or the blues. If they don't like either keep well away. It's turned out right so far!
A friend recently lost her Golden. It's so sad, he got carried away in the current of a mountain stream. She said she may get another but not for a while.

@BigBoMclain You weren't there and I wasn't there so I think it's not up to us to judge her actions. I do know that in this part of Washington, rivers have some extremely strong currents as I've been whitewater rafting on some of them. Flipped a raft once on a trip with my son who is a certified rafting instructor.
@BigBoMclain, well, let me clarify; I discovered that the Rainbow Bridge is on Oahu, in fact, however, I was terrified to go there for fear of what may happen to me. So, no, I'm afraid Noodles and I did not get acquainted.
