Um.... They are called magazines... .Not clips.
There are clips and there are magazines. Difference is weight, time, and money. Civilians are more familiar with clips. Military/Police more familiar with magazines.
Either or.. they both hold ammo. ?
@SleeplessInTexas true anyway it would have worked just as well with magazines so your just splitting hairs.
You are correct, @RiverRick.
@SleeplessInTexas This is incorrect. While they both hold ammo... Clips hold individual rounds. Usually in preparation to be loaded bulk into a spring-fed magazine that is, in turn, loaded into a pistol or rifle.. You cannot load a clip directly into a firearm and have it fire. There are a few rifles where clips feed directly into an internal magazine that holds the rounds... But the clips themselves do not load into the weapon. Your weight/time/money comment is nonsense as is the civilian VS military comment. The media has incorrectly labeled the two as the same. There is a difference. Splitting hairs? Perhaps.
Love it!!!!!! You should reposted in the Gun Control Group... we can use a laugh!!!! Well Done!!!! And why not? Also on the ammosexuals groups here.
