Certainly a woman could get elected, but I don’t care what gender the next US president happens to be. I care about the ideas, integrity and knowledge the next president has. I want someone who values individual rights, knows what they are, and has the integrity to stand up for what they believe.

We should hope so. Men for millennia have been in control and have done a shitty job. Many female leaders that have emerged, have in general done a better job than their male counterparts. Exceptions exist (Aung San Suu Kyi or Marsha Blackburn (lol)). Teresa May could be accused of incompetsnce, but one must remember the Brexit situation is unique and nobody has a clear idea how to proceed.

Of course a woman could be elected POTUS in 2020. Better to ask if a woman will be elected POTUS in 2020. Then my answer is a resounding, maybe, but not likely.

While I would support a woman I do not believe a woman has a good chance of being elected in 2020 because the people are tired of the experiment with trumper. It is my believe we need a person with experience of running a government successfully and Bloomberg fits that description well. He did a great job with NYC and was well liked at the time.
