I can't say there is absolutely nothing I'm grateful to tRump for. I am grateful to his presidency for reminding me of the depth racism, misogyny, xenophobia, homophobia, poor critical thinking skills, indifference and just plain cruelty still exists in millions of my fellow Americans.
My mom used to tell me that anyone can become president. I guess the fact that tRump became president 45 certainly bears that out.
We might've taken it a bit too far this time...
...also, poor education, miserable research skills, bad writing and horrible vocabulary/grammar/spelling...
It is sad to know that such people live among us...I thought we were progressing as a species, but tRump definitely blew that out of the water...I feel like we are far from the days of peace and love...
The magnitude of the nastiness has been a slap in the face hasn't it?
@kmdskit3 I wish I could say it was one-sided by it is not...I have seen some otherwise good people that I have known all my life turn into very ugly and hateful people...I found myself being sucked in and had to take a step back...yeah, I will comment on issues and make fun of his hair with the best of them, but some of the ugliness is just going to have to stop for my own sanity and self-worth...I hate that we even have to talk about this...
I'm glad our young get to see how twisted people can become early on. Hopefully this will stay with them, remind them that peace and prosperity are not things that simply happens by themselves.
Too many people I know are so shocked by what's happening. It's as if they know nothing of human nature.
This presidency has opened my eyes to all the hatred on our country, and it is quite disheartening.
