About 10 y.o..

Last night ... with my wife. She was sitting across the table from me in the restaurant ... we were with friends, but I couldn't stop looking at her. There's something about her ... words are pointless. We started dating in '76, and were married in '81 ... I'm not boasting ... it's just how I feel, in response to the question.

Beautiful. I remember how that feels...

Right now! I am 69, he is 73, we have a ton of baggage each but this is the happiest I have EVER been! Him too...never laughed so much in my life

I think I am falling in love right now. The song "Falling Slowly" comes to mind. Before this, it was 35 years ago.

Every day. Every single day.

EverydAy...married 25 years

1984 with my with my ex wife
2007 with my ex girlfriend
That was enough for me, pain and tears on both sides. That's it I'm done

@Naeem, my ex wife and I are close friends.
My ex girlfriend, that's a completely different story

  1. Didn't realize how long it has been.

@Naeem That it does, my friend, that it does.

My life has been rather unique, especially the romance aspect. That being said, I am not sure I've ever actually experienced love. My relationships, for the most part, felt like extended lust.

5

27 years ago. That union lasted 21 years.

@Naeem Yeah, I've been 6 years on my own. I do feel lonely sometimes.

@Naeem Hey, only sometimes buddy. 🙂

@Naeem In my defence I loved that person until February 2017.

@Naeem We were together for 7 years, then many years apart and back together in November 2016 and run away screaming in February lol. People change a lot in so many years. And by this time he lived in another country. Still friends 🙂

Today morning... 😉

2013 while in Scotland, before that was 1990. Only twice in my 47 years🙂

4

Now. There is always somebody to love. If you have the capacity.

@Naeem Just being Honest bro... No fears. No tears either. It is just a Game... People Play.

I began developing secret feelings for someone a little over a year ago. He's got no idea.

4

Fall of 1986.

First, last and only time was in 1999 a few years after I left my marriage. I have loved 2 ladies since, but wasn't "in love" with them.

4

I have loved and been loved but I don't know that I have ever been "in love". At this stage of my life I do know that I do NOT want to be "in love" but I still want to love and be loved.

@Naeem I can only say that there IS a difference in loving and being "in Love".

I fell in love twice yesterday. Im in Florida and all these girls are running around in shorty shorts, haha,

I would think that the best terminology to describe your condition is "I fell in lust twice yesterday."

December 2004 was over it by January 2006. I never plan on doing it again. I honestly don't think I have it in me to maintain any relationship deeper than friendship.

It's been years since I fell in love.

2

Like all the time

I fall in love with a song, a movie, a poem, Matt Smith (the 11th Doctor), Amy and Rory, Carl Sagan, hedgehogs, dragonflies, blue herons, all of my friends, the University of Chicago campus, the arboretum by me, ideas, Life.

Yes! that's exactly it. the journey is to discover all there is to love.

2

I've never fallen in love before.

2

Early nineties. Ending. Now trying to learn how to love and accept myself.

2

I am a repeat offender and fall easily. Totally in love with my wife though she is aggressively pursuing divorce 😟. But she would qualify as the last.

Much harder to cultivate self love for me, but learning everyday.
