I’m on season 3 episode 20 of his original series, having watched them umpteen times (since first run programs at age 12 on Friday nights!) … and finishing three of Bill Shatner’s books, the last being Lenard, I’ve searched for Roddenberry’s influence along with other ..quirks ~
