My parents were strong Nixon supporters. I heard what others were saying at the time, as a teenager, and was confused as to what to think. Now that I've done a 180 compared to my parent's political stances, I understand how so many people have their heads buried in the sand, and will not hear what a conscious sentient being can see is the truth. I believe all my siblings still adhere to the "bury your head in the sand" approach.

We all have so much more information, now, at the touch of a button to relate all sides of an issue. It's still surprising to me how many people can keep their head buried for this long!
