S anyone keeping score on the damage the Trump has already inflicted on us, the American people, and to our country and its institutions? The following is a list of some that I can think of:
• He has made lying, treachery and corruption a normal pattern of behavior.
• He has infest the cabinet and governmental posts with corrupt pr3edators and ideologues.
• He has appointed judges who are dogmatic ideologues, not fair and independent minded jurists.
• We has weakened virtually all programs providing services to all sectors of the American population except for the rich and privileged
• Through his tariffs, he has damaged American farmers, workers in many industries, and all American consumers.
• He has weakened our civil and voting rights.
• With his tax cutys for the rich, he has greatly increased the national debt, while promising to reduce it.
• He has alienated our allies around the world, while consorting with autocrats ranging from Russian, North Korean, Turkish, and Hungarian.
• He has weakened our defense alliances around the world.

Tose are just a few. If you have more, please add them..

All this fetishism of trump by the left is the very soil in which trump plants his influence. Every time someone sees a tweet or a post forged from pure rage, it BENEFITS trump, because it makes honest people believe that anti-trumpers are insane, and they seek to avoid that insanity themselves scaring away potential swing voters and entrenching republican voters.

It makes him look like the victim. Having victim status gives you profound strategic psychological advantage, which is leveraged by the right.

In addition, he is so easy to straw man that it seems like no one is able to do anything accept make superficial arguments about his character.

You can make good arguments against his policies. I don't like a lot of his policies. For some reason, we can't have a civil discussion about that because we are always to busy arguing about how terrible he is. How despicable he is. How much of a lying psychopathic monster he is. I have to go way out of my way to locate credible resources that discuss the advantages and disadvantages of his policies, and to get there I have to crawl through flaming lunacy.

Are we really so easily socially engineered that we become incapable of critical thought?

I have no idea of what you are trying to say or why. I am not on the far left, but consider myself a patriotic moderate. Unlike the moral idiot Trump, I did not dodge the draft, but served my country faithfully and well. I studied political science while in graduate school and understand the topic damned well. I used to read a LOT before my eyes gave me problems -- an average of a book a week and lots of magazines and newspapers. I study issues and facts, and form my own independent decisi9ons. I would never be the gullible victim of propaganda machines like Fox "News."

So, whatever you appear to be saying about me and what I think, you are dead wrong so far.

@wordywalt I'm not talking about you specifically, there is no need to get defensive.

Let me sum up my points for you to easily understand: STOP FEEDING THE BEAR!

P.S.
It is impossible to logically start with this:
"I have no idea of what you are trying to say or why"
and end with this:
"you are dead wrong so far"

If you do not know what I am saying, you can't say that I am wrong, just that you don't understand and need clarification.

I hope somebody is keeping a list. Whomever replaces Cheetolini is going to have an enormous task ahead of them to correct the damage that has been done.

In 2017, the overall unemployment rate for the United States was 4.4 percent;
[bls.gov]

That does not mean that all Americans are fully employed in a full-time job, that they all have decent wages and/or reasonable benefits. That current employment level is the result of actions prior to the idiot Trump.

United States gross national product
Gross National Product in the United States is expected to be 17991.00 USD Billion by the end of this quarter, according to Trading Economics global macro models and analysts expectations. Looking forward, we estimate Gross National Product in the United States to stand at 19381.00 in 12 months time.

So?

So the economy is good, why would you take the Wall Street gains out of the equation?

1

All of those thing were already a problem.

That is a deliberate misstatement on your part.

@wordywalt And that's deliberate ignorance on your part.

Do you really think that any of these things are new? Trump sucks, but the problems are systemic. Putting all the blame on one person is unbelievably misinformed, and only proves that the machine is doing its job to keep you dumb.

@Happy_Killbot Your statements remind me of the old axiom, Never argue with a fool."

@wordywalt Your statement remind me of the axiom, "In the world of the blind, the one eyed man rules"

Why Donald J Trump will win in 2020.

his base is primarily made of one issue voters.

his base is very loyal and regardless of his I will follow him to the ends of the Earth.

although the one issue voter really only cares about one issue.

they will except the rest all of the Republican / Trump agenda if it means that one issue secure.

here is a list of single issues that will carry the Republican agenda in no particular order.

1:gun rights( take my gun out of my cold dead hand)

2: religious right( Trump should end every speech with God Bless the USA)

3: nationalist( America First right or wrong)

4: right to life( the Democrats just want to kill babies)

5: xenophobe( keep those immigrants out of this country all they want is welfare)

each one of the single voter groups by themselves as insignificant

in aggregate adds up to about 40 voting population.

presidents typically get too much praise when the economy is good and too much blame when the economy is bad . Trump will claim victory over the economy this is hard to refute. this will add about 5% to Trump's base.

the Democratic agenda for the past 2 years has essentially been anti Trump all the time. therefore they have some catching up to do.

Social Democratic wing of the Democratic Party, has created an opportunity for the Republicans; this I will call the Red Scare

( Khrushchev said We will bury you) this will no doubt add to Trump's base.

due to the Relentless attacks by democrats Trump may be able to obtain a victim status, this may not resonate well with these base unless is perceived to be fighting back,( it's us against them).

the only Democrat that is a perceivable threat to the re-election of Donald Trump is former Vice President Biden. he will have to find

a way to unite Democrats and reduce the Red Scare Factor.

this will be especially difficult Biden will have to run on the Obama economy. which may be difficult.

You are so full of it! Trump will not get 40 percent of the vote. More and more people are wising up to his stupidity, corruption, and sociopathy.

How about let's talk about what he has done that benefits America?

Pulled out of the Paris agreement, imposed sanctions on companies in China, Singapore and Russia, he secured the release of 19 people from foreign captivity that included 16 Americans, he pulled out of the Iran deal Obama agreed to, he moved the US embassy to Isreal, he created millions of new jobs and brought unemployment down to 3.9%, he renegotiated unfair trade deals.

I could go on but what were you saying again?

How about explaining how any of those things have actually benefited the average American??

@Dhiltong are you serious? Ok, I'll break it down so you can understand it.

  1. Pulled out if the Paris Agreement: the Paris agreement is a scam that robs the American people of their hard earned tax dollars. You cannot change a natural cycle of the earth. We are coming out of an ice age...its going to get warmer. The earth has been here for about 4.6 billion yrs...she will be here long after we are gone.

  2. Imposed sanctions on China, Singapore and Russia: Trump did this as a disciplinary action to those that went against US sanctions on North Korea. North Korea is a threat to our national security....which affects all Americans.

  3. Secured the release of 19 people from foreign captivity: well, that doesn't affect all Americans but I'm pretty sure those people and their families are greatful.

  4. Pulled out of the Iran Deal: Iran wasn't making good on the deal and was working against US interests in the Middle East. It's a national security issue that affects more than Americans.

  5. Moved the US embassy to Israel: Trump was enforcing a law enacted in 1995. Israel is one of our closest allies. It strengthens our relationship with Israel.

  6. Created millions of jobs and unemployment rate dropped to about 3.9%. That is self explanatory.

  7. Renegotiated unfair trade deals: NAFTA wiped out thousands of Americans jobs by encouraging companies to move overseas. That's pretty self explanatory, as well.

@ArtemisDivine

  1. Your argument there is complete B.S.
  2. North Korea is just the same as it has always been, they still have all their nukes and missiles.
  3. I'm happy for the folks that were freed, but he's not the only president to do something like that.
  4. Every intelligence agency has agreed that Iran was complying to the terms of the deal, now all bets are off.
  5. Good for Israel!
  6. The employment rate is just a continuation of the trend of the last few years of Obama at actually a slightly lower rate. (Go look up the numbers)
  7. First off the new NAFTA deal has yet to be ratified. I personally own a manufacturing company that also exports our products and I can tell you first hand all of Trumps great deals have done nothing but cost my company money and business. If you don't believe me about my business here's my company's website www.ricochetoffroad.com

What I see with Trump's supposed accomplishments is way more propaganda than substance. Of course unless you consider being a 1%'er an average American, they're doing fine!!

He has not done a damned thing that really benefits America. Almost e everything he has done will come back to bite both him and us in the ass.

@Dhiltong explain why #1 is bs. Is it because you refuse to gather and recognize facts about the history of Earths natural cycles? Ok, so lets assume it is bs. Do you think that the major earthquake in Japan in March of 2011, that slightly moved the earth on its axis, might have something to do with climate change?

I'm not disputing climate change. I'm disputing the validity that humans have a significant impact on it.

#2 How we handle North Korea has changed under the Trump administration. Obama did nothing during his two terms.

#3 You all want to cry about how horrible Trump is but never want to recognize the good he does. I was merely pointing out the good on Trumps part . It has nothing to do with what anyone else would do.

#4 What intelligence agencies? Ours? Foreign intelligence agencies?

#6 Trumps tax cuts have helped businesses expand and hire more employees

#7 NAFTA was ratified in 1993 and took effect in 1994

@ArtemisDivine 1. You're just repeating the same old worn out denier augment there. Personally I'll take the word of the scientific community.
2. I'm results orientated, how we handle NK doesn't do anything for me. Besides Obama had a completely different dynamic to deal with. Kim didn't take power until 2011 and was very beholden to the old guard at first plus Obama made overtures to meet NK leaders which by the way he was ruthlessly criticized for by your hero's at Fox news, fucking hypocrites.
3. I will always have a problem with lying borderline con artists.
4. What intelligence agencies? Pretty much all foreign and domestic.
6. Numerous studies have shown that the tax cuts have had very little impact on hiring. Yes, I read respected business journals.
7. I was talking about the new NAFTA, it has not been ratified, because I am still filling out the old NAFTA paperwork when we ship product to our distributors in Canada and Mexico.

@Dhiltong I find it interesting that you won't actually answer my questions. Im not going to continue to run around in circles with you and waste my time on your nonsense. Peace

@ArtemisDivine Nice bailout.......Peace to you also.

@ArtemisDivine Well then I'll let this guy answer one of your questions.

1

When it comes to supreme court judges all presidents nominate like minded judges.

Not always true. Most presidents do try to nominate qualified judges who love and protect the law and constitution. That cannot be said for Trump.

4

By changing the balance of the Supreme Court , he's threatening Roe v. Wade . , and other Women's issues .

All presidents change the balance of the supreme court when there is a vacancy, remember conservative presidents nominate conservative judges, liberal presidents nominate liberal judges. It has always been this way.

other than abortion what other women's issues are threatened?
Roe v. Wade , is a week decision the basis in the Constitution is a major stretch.
it may be overturned. abortion rights within go to the state legislatures.
if you didn't like what your legislature did in your state you could move.
or travel to an abortion state to have your abortion.

@m16566 or people can take responsibility for their actions and not use abortion as birth control.

@m16566 with what money? Rich people can travel, get a hotel room, pay for abortions in other states...a poor person can barely pay to get to a clinic...why should Americans living and paying federal taxes in any state have to move to have rights?

@ArtemisDivine That is such a tiny number of people...you focus on the least likely reason women get abortions...mostly because of the failure of the method they used...even the pill fails...how does a woman take responsibility for rape? How does a child take responsibility for incest or child abuse/rape? You insult women by saying that they aren't doing what they can to prevent pregnancy and taking responsibility and then saying they can't be responsible for their own bodies and how they want to proceed. Which way is it? Responsible for it all or not at all? Can't have it both ways.

@thinktwice The pill is 99.9% effective when taken properly. The women crying that the pill didn't work, didnt take it correctly. Incidents of rape, incest and medical necessity are ridiculously minimal at best. And no man accidentally falls into a vagina and impregnates a woman. A woman has to actually have sexual intercourse. Women definitely should be held accountable for their actions. It's too easy to get birth control. An innocent babys life is worth protecting and just as valuable as a womans life. Be a fucking adult.

@ArtemisDivine I guess accountable to you means that women should not be able to have sex without fear...the joy of sex should only be available if you are willing to suffer the consequences of an unwanted child...but the man can do whatever he wants? Where is his responsibility? He doesn't have to carry the baby to birth...sorry, not buying...an adult can make decisions on her own without outside influence based on her beliefs, her desires...don;t be a meddling adult...and yeah, I am a fucking adult...I fuck all the time and like it a lot... 🙂

maybe they could have like frequent a abortion coupons.
maybe have 10 abortions and 1I is free

@m16566 Those that cannot "move or travel" are the poor whose welfare rolls will only increase due to force term pregnancies. The fetus is LESS important than the child who will be dumped in the garbage, grow up fatherless, with life stack against the child.

He has systematically weakened the free press, cast doubt upon and rejected our intelligence services, from the FBI and CIA to NSA. Cost taxpayers over $100 million in just two years to fund his golf addiction. Obstructed justice and encouraged his sycophants to ignore lawful subpoenas. Pardoned war crimes and disgraced the office of president.....he and his administration, with the willing assistance of the republican party, are the greatest threat to democracy, this nation has ever faced.

Dew25 Level 7 May 29, 2019

how could you have weakened freedom of the press CNN tees off on him everyday

6

He has weakened the US EPA

1

Great. Sounds like and indictment. 🙂

1

I'm interested in how he weakened are voting and civil rights

Weakened.

@KKGator our

"OUR"

7

He has repealed numerous consumer and environmental protections making it easier for companies to rip us off with no consequences and to kill endangered species for profit.

He has enabled and empowered the purveyors of hate and racism through his own racist/misogynist behavior.

He has raised the bar on corruption at the highest levels of government for other corrupt politicians to aspire to.

He has monetized the presidency to personally benefit from his office.

He lies to us constantly about absolutely everything.

He is committed to stifling the advancement of green, renewable energy in favor of protecting the interests of the fossil fuel industry.

He denies science and climate change.

He wants to halt and un-do any advancement on healthcare and eliminate pre-existing conditions protection.

He doesn't support gun control legislation.

He has successfully rolled back/dismantled 40 years of sociopolitical growth.

......................................

We can just go on and on and on with this stuff.

he has reduced regulations in order to help business

@m16566 In order to help business harm the environment, disregard worker safety, and deliver harmful products to consumers. Yeah, great job!

@m16566 At OUR expense, genius. Consumer protections are designed to protect the consumers. That includes YOU. Understand? De-regulation benefits the wealthy corporate interests. Fuck, how do some people not get this?

6

He has separated children from their families, leaving our inadequate system to care for thousands of kids

Yes.

the same thing was done under the Obama Administration

@m16566 so continuing a bad thing is a good thing? If he wants to say he has improved the economy on the back of Obama's policy, then he also has to own this...fair enough...

@m16566 Not the same thing. And certainly way beyond any harm caused by the Obama administration.

@jerry99 yep...mixing apples with oranges...
