I have gravity issues:

I’m always dropping things, knocking things over, tripping—falling—spilling. It’s like I carry this huge cloud of gravity everywhere I go.

I remember one day I had just parked my car, and I was gathering up my stuff in my arms, and I dropped my keys… so I bent down to pick up my keys and a book falls off the pile of stuff in my arms… so I tried to pick up the book and balance my keys, when I dropped my bag with my computer on it, and my mocha fell off the hood of the car where I had put it.

I was frustrated, so I went toe-to-toe with gravity right there in the parking garage.

“Look, I get it… You’re gravity… You can bring me down. I have never questioned that. You don’t have to prove anything to me. I’m your bitch and I get it.”

I have a problem with gravity , too. I try to ignore it, but that does not help. Uwsually I say "you win, bitch," and sit down.

I don't have a problem with gravity (yet) but I have noticed lately my "Spidey sense" seems to be dwindling! I used to be able to dodge unexpected low hanging branches, but I've hit my forehead 3 or 4 times in the past few months! And I look around quickly to make sure no one's watching! 😲

I've had problems with frequent falls over the last nine or ten months. Twice I've broken my nose, actually. Anyway, I'm not sure if the problem is worn-out shoes (I've been wearing a particular pair a lot for three or four years), or medication, or physical weakness, or simply carelessness. Maybe it's a combination of two or more.

Also, I've had some trouble with clumsiness in the last 5-10 years.

I also seem to drop things a little bit more often now than I used to (I just turned 65.). The falls are the main concern for me now, though.

My ongoing battle with gravity is similar to yours and I blame it on my neuropathy. I'm no longer sure on my feet and wear New Balance shoes with a diabetic insert. A complication is that my feet tingle. I have to be very careful or what you are reporting happens to me. About 6 years ago I climbed trees like an ape, walked on the roof of my house, and even climbed my TV antenna tower. Hard to do this without proper feeling in your feet. If cops ever wanted me to walk a straight line I would have to pass. For me it is no longer possible.

Actually, I am also a diabetic and do have just a little neuropathy in my feet. Perhaps that's contributing to my problem with frequent falls.

Either you are just clumsy or need to see a doctor.

After my second stroke, I became amazingly clumsy. The fun part is dropping knives off my work surface.

At least I know the cause of the problem.

I remember a few years ago I noticed things around me were falling down and rolling over while I wasn't looking. I was convinced it was a ghost. I had my kids over one weekend and I explained it to them. A couple hours later I turned my back and I'll be damned if a lamp didnt get knocked over. I said "HA!" and asked my kids if they saw it. They laughed at me and said "yeah dad, it was your ass." I had gained weight and didnt realize my ass had grown such that I was knocking things over if I wasn't careful. No ghost. Just fatass me.
