You don't have to leave the coast. Just get to higher ground.
And the rumble zone off the coast will stop and lock and the UW labs will alert us.

@PondartInc Keep in mind, the coast is currently ‘pushed up,’ from the subducting Juan de Fuca plate. When that plate snaps loose (bound at the moment), the coastline will sink, substantially! Thus the predicted ‘sunami levels’ are likely way off..

I’ve my father and brother at the OR coast ..nearly moved there myself … before a local suggested I look into ‘what’s going to cause that sunami.’ Into geology, I did. Terrifying!

A dirtbike would be about the only thing that could navigate what will be left of the local roads, inland as well.. You’d have around 20 minutes to get to higher ground, if not surrounded by a ‘new shallow bay.’ Both my daughters are still ‘inland,’ with plans of moving from OR. I wouldn’t have feared so much for my life ..as the total loss of property value.. given the regions sky-rocketing cost of land & living.

Hey, I’d not mentioned it yet, but look into the country of Belize. Least populated Central American nation, a protectorate of Britain, English speaking, inexpensive, cheap medical care next door in Mexico … with wonderful coastline or inland opportunities. Or, stay here and help us fight! We can always use another road warrior with a dirtbike

@Haemish1, @Allamanda As I wrote in another post, PR is the land of mediocrity, corruption and parasitism. Too many puertorricans behave like cavemen and troglodytes. Disorder, noise, lawlessness and disrespect are our "daily bread".
But, to be fair, a LOT of people, both puertorricans and gringos, disagree with me. So, maybe I am wrong.

Here's how I believe he did it. He presented himself convincingly that he was the antiestablishment candidate. Many people believed him, while also despising Hillary (her own fault).
Now, Bernie IS the antiestablishment candidate. Trump can't keep up the facade against an honest transformer. And, is also losing popularity, even with his once devout supporters. These are the people who formerly voted for Obama, but their disdain for and distrust of Hillary locked down Trump's win.

@Athena I don't see how anyone could think of a spoiled rich boy sitting on top of his papa's money as an anti-establishment candidate. In fact, that is a fair description of why I didn't like Hillary either. I couldn't vote for either of them and I don't really understand how anyone could.

So basically, you are dealing with a guy with a limited scope of understanding. I just don't get it.

I was so dismayed when Bernie folded for Hillary. I lost a lot of faith that day. I still don't know what to think about that.

However, based on a number of interviews, I think Liz Warren probably would have done anything BUT back Hillary. But we'll see what the next election season brings.

My friend had a military pension and a US pension and he has lived in UK since he was in his 30s. I think you are meant to file taxes and you are meant to turn up at the embassy in case of the draft but no, your money can be claimed anywhere. Come to UK
