You know what really frosts my ass? The current spate of posts from people who apparently spend hours a day reading their Babbles and posting questions on here (!) AS IF there is actual information in there that needs to be posted about so it can be dissected/discussed. And, the unbelievable amount of people who reply AS IF they have nothing else to do. IT IS ALL CLAPTRAP, get a hobby! Period!
Plus, there is nothing else going on in this country, or the world, that could actually use some thought & attention?

I focus on the discussions that have interest to me and disregard the rest. There's enough interesting conversation on here that I'm not concerned about that. I figure some people are still grappling with what religion has done to them and may need to work that through.

My actual problem is, I feel these posts are a way "true believers" are trying to woo us back into their web by getting us to think about religious Crapola AS IF it was true....makes me feel both manipulated & angry!
@AnneWimsey Maybe some are, maybe some aren't. People are going to do what they're going to do, but I'm not swayed by them, especially if they're strangers. If I know the person and they do it, I'm not swayed by them either, but they will piss me off only because I had thought better of them.
If your ass is cold, Amazon do a good line in thermal knickers. Also I have very warm hands, but unfortunately I am on the other side of the Atlantic. (Plus, you may block me if I go any farther, with that idea.)

You might think wrong........
There are several people posting often to make level 9. AFAIK they should make those posts private. However that would reduce points earned because they'd get no comments. Thus, I frequently skip those posts.
For those who post for points: post in private, the same thing, over and over again. You can make level quicker.

Find some good here and find more good somewhere else. That is what we do in personal, work and social relationships and life. Not whine. A negative attitude to find what's wrong in posts, in people and everywhere is not helpful to you or others. That is negative energy.
Ask not what the platform can do for you but ask what you can do for the platform. One of those things can be making a positive contribution, bring positive energy, not negative.

I cannot participate in religious discussions as I have almost no personal knowledge of any religion.
I have no desire to learn about different religious beliefs just to participate in a discussion about something that I have no interest in.
