My "Most Irritating" Award for Winter, goes to the weather reports that tell me it will be 50 degrees and it is going to snow.....................
An Actual thing right now on all weather reports! i learned physics in HS, WTF?

Here at least it's pretty cool when it snows at 50 degress. You get giant wet snowflakes. Just because it's 50 degrees on the ground doesn't mean it's that warm aloft.

My definition of actual Snow is stuff I have to shovel!
@AnneWimsey We don't get snow "on the level" very often. We usually get sideways snow and you may or may not have to shovel, depending on wind direction. Sideways snow can be pretty wicked though since the places you do have to shovel tend to be really deep.
@sewchick57 my little dog helps me find the windswept spots so I don't have to shovel so much for her! I always had big dogs, they enjoyed making trails for themselves. The first snow I had all 11 lbs of her, I opened the back door and we just looked at each other, the I bundled up & grabbed the shovel.....
