I just came across this. Too good not to share. Totally something I'd do.....

LOVE it! FFRF sells a stamp for US currency...you can stamp over "In God We Trust" and change it to "In Reason We Trust." But, Spock's more fun, isn't it?
This is funny! Live long and prosper is probably better than anything the Sir Wilfrid Laurier ever said!
I always thought it strange, that in the US the design of bills hardly changes. Here in the UK, as with most countries, we are often treated to new designs, and have had people like Darwin and Newton featured.
I've always admired the differently-colored bills in European nations..makes so much sense for foreign visitors.
@LucyLoohoo very helpful to sight-challenged people, too
Ugh... No!
Another thing to prompt the expedition toward establishments going cashless!
Great, now you're making me think about that! Lol
It's funny, independent of what it can lead to, yes. But, I have growing concern about this and what it will do to the homeless. Once people stop carrying and establishments stop accepting cash, what will happen to them?
This is also a form of discrimination. Not everyone wants a digital footprint or has a credit card. Some can't even get a bank account. I wouldn't expect this to be on the forefront of anyone's mind, but it's something to consider.
@Athena I mean, I can totally see that scenario. Damn.
Let's hope that at the point we go cashless, the world will have its act in gear and there won't be any homeless people.
Dreams..
All great points!
I have a Chinese friend who had returned to China last year after a long time living stateside. She was amazed that they have very little remaining of cash transactions. Most everything is done by card now. It sounds like hell to me! I can’t imagine the book work of balancing my checking account with every transaction less than $10 listed!
@Athena I for a long time have thought we would all be better off as soon as the rich have all the money, I mean all of it. The problems they think will end will not as their money would be worthless in most places. Everyone else would use something else, like trade\ing one thing for another. The really poor do alright if they have access to a means to survive. One always has their labor and things always need repair.
@dalefvictor
I think that sounds great as a "poof, here you go" scenario. To get there in reality would be littered with so much crime and destruction. In order to trade, one must have some resources to provide trade-worthy goods.
The rich would have the big machines, big tools and big weapons, so could just enslave the masses to get what they need and prevent communities from thriving. Money is power and power can be so evil.
I do love that scenario as a movie or screenplay.
