Name one good thing that comes from the Christian beliefs.
The Bible says "There is nothing new under the sun." IT is true for th Bible also. Christian beliefs are simply earlier beliefs newly branded. So the golden rule etc, do not come from Christian beliefs.
RobGraham below is right. You have to admit the history of religious themed art, architecture, music etc... is spectacular, especially from the Catholics. Beyond that, there's that whole living forever after you die thing too.
That part's not real but it sure makes them feel good while they're alive.
Yes but that whole living forever thing justifies a lot of neglect and contempt for this life, from the environment, to vast amounts of time and materials wasted.
( Metaphorically. Picture a Christian sitting in the great guilded cage which is a cathedral, for hours on end, with an iron clap on his leg causing him pain for penance. While outside his horse goes neglected and badly shod, for want of the blacksmiths bill and a small bit of that iron.)
I would cite The Golden Rule, except for the fact that Confucius was preaching that philosophy in 500 B.C.E., so I can't credit that to the Christians. Other than that, I've got nothing.
A few concepts like "love thy neighbor" that still work without any magical thinking.
Comes from Confucius 500 years earlier
Some Christians find a reason for altruism, community, and real love from their Christians beliefs. You can't deny the ugly feelings and shameful acts that are done in the name of Christ, but you can't deny the good that comes from Christian beliefs either.
Art, Architecture, sponsorship of the Renaissance...?
I like the notion of emphasizing forgiveness, which is a hard change to put into effect. Even with that caveat, Christians seem completely oblivious to the notion of forgiveness. It's in one ear and out the other. The failure of Christian love is everywhere to be seen.
Humility is a similar honorable attribute given lip service by Christians. As with forgiveness, it is another singular failure of Christians; they are unable to adopt genuine humility and avoid hubris. The expression of humility seems almost entirely unknown, and full-bore arrogance is more the norm.
Indeed, Christians are fond of parading their (supposedly exclusive) claims on morality even as morality is wholly feigned and workarounds are universally practiced. The hypocrisy reeks. Happily, many young people actually seem to be repelled by this hypocrisy and are looking elsewhere.
I have several friends that have had miraculous cures or have been saved from death by God. When they tell me their story I just want to say "How do you know God did it?". I guess these people really believed God gave them a miracle or either they are delusional. These are intelligent people. Sometimes I want to laugh out loud in their faces. One lady told me she saw Jesus in her bedroom and he told her that her husband would live. He died 6 months later.
The Christian would point to someone in desperate circumstances and say that religion (or Christianity) gives hope.
But then the atheist would say that without this thoughtless hope, someone might push harder for improvement in their living conditions.
Do to others as you would have them do to you. This is a good base for personal ethics.
The golden rule. Attributed to Confucius long before Christianity was invented.
@Moravian Yet the Xians believe it, adopt it and spread it. That is a good thing.
@BestWithoutGods They do not spread. I present westboro, and trump's evangelicals.

Humanitarian projects such as medical and dental that serve the under served and poor domestically and internationally. Unfortunately it often times includes proselytizing and might be considered ulterior motivated. These things can be done with the tenets of Humanists without the superstition.
