For many christians, whenever something goes wrong in their life, they blame Satan. As if they have no will power or intelligence to think through actions and consequences on their own.
I always wonder why they blame Satan, who their God made, and who became a fallen angel. I always thought it was their God's fault, but because of free will, Christians don't seem to think of it that way. But then if they themselves have free will, why did something go wrong? And WTH happened to their guardian angel? It's SO confusing, convoluted and BS....
Makes life easier blaming the devil or thanking god than actually being real.
Or say things like "it was part of god's plan." or "it was just meant to be..."
Like thoughts and prayers... let's say some shit that means absolutely nothing. It's fun to dodge responsibilty and not acknowledge issues or problems.
You nailed it, I hate this. Especially when someone dies they go on and on about who the dead person is visiting in heaven, really I think, how old are you 5? You can't handle that it is just over. At my dad's funeral people would say this to me and I'd respond yes I know some people believe that.
That was Flip Wilson’s best line, “the Devil made me do it”.
Yes!
