@KKGator containment will happen. How many people will die between now and then, remains to be seen. Unlike zombie movies, the virus doesnt seem to be very good at motivating its carriers to spread the virus,, so at some point itll die out within delineated geographic regions, and stop spreading. As youve pointed out, this doesnt always end well for fans of individuals vs the gene pool.

Exposure and incubation isn't what they initially thought, as is spelled out in the article.
It's also likely that they wouldn't be distributed even if you did.

@1of5 Indeed. When someone is infected & snot is running out of their nose, this is dead virus & not contagious. Non symptomatic is the infectious period. A mask can keep one from touching ones face with their bare fingers as well as gloves. Wash the gloves when one gets home. If gloves" don't work then why do medical personnel wear them. Because it is a barrier & disposable & less likely to transfer. Absolutely washing with plain soap is a must. But this is protocol for all contagious diseases.

why are hospitals keeping infected patients in isolation then? Why wear a mask or gloves at all, if body fluids aren't the issue? Why do hospital staff change gloves frequently.

People do not care. This is why viruses are so easy to spread.
This is also one reason why nature takes care of over-population fairly effectively.
