I have to say that baby dedication ceremonies are by far on top of one of the most cultish aspects of christianity.
Imagine being born in India and before you can even recollect any memory of your life, your parents are dedicating your life to Lord Vishu.
Nobody asked you for your consent. Nobody is waiting for you to come to reason. It is just here we go, let begin indoctrination before this child can even think and reason.
Yeah, that is a bad as it sounds and that is the christian baby dedication ceremony.
Nobody comes to god but through indoctrination.
Especially since you did not consent to be born in the first Place!!!
LOL!!!
I was indoctrinated into a cult that eats its god and drinks its blood. Nothing weird about that. vomits afk
You are wrong to elevate harmless words over sexual mutilation of baby boys and young girls about to menstruate....all religions are deadly cults and need to ne condemned equally globally
You find this "baptism" of sorts in nearly every religion. Even if your life is not dedicated officially in this way at birth, think anabaptists such as Amish Mennonite, you are still indoctrinated and brainwashed from birth. My Dad just passed away last night, I have his cradle enrollment into the Mennonite Sunday School, he was two weeks old.
In the not so distant past, some little kiddos were tossed in volcanoes , or into a bonfire , or buried (alive), within the foundation, of some holy building being built - all to appease a god. I guess the dedication could be considered "progress" ... eesh.
That's because god love to make babies burn in fire for eternity unless they has a drop of special water on their forehead that is the only viable vaccine to the eternal fires. Absolutely Batshit Crazy!
I call it brainwashing. It starts even before an infant can think. It continues as the child matures, and if the child allows it, it continues for the rest of his or her life.
those are what the Bible calls trees or camps, and they are perfectly fine places to be from i guess, but i suggest that no one comes to Yah but by leaving them, as the Bible suggests; test everything, and keep what is good, etc
That's where churches are very hypocritical. The Bible tells us to prove all things, hold fast to that which is good, and reject what is evil. But preachers tell their congregations not to think, not to look for facts or evidence, and just to accept whatever they say on blind faith.
I Thessalonians 5:21-22
21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
@BestWithoutGods as long as the heir is a child he is no better than a slave, even though he is the owner of it all or something like that, yeh
