Focusing on the future!!!!! When things calm down, the dogs & i am getting in my tiny RV (fits in an ordinary parking spot or driveway) and making a big Northeast/Eastern Canada/NY loop to visit as many if you all as possible, if only for coffee at a Dunkin Donuts! I will start asking who wants a visit hopefully in a month or so......
Followed by a trip down the Eastern Seaboard with loops thru eastern PA, at least to the Carolinas! I am saving so much money by staying home it will be a breeze!

Oh sure, discriminate against going east to west. 😉

So far! I would love to do a Western National Parks thing, but driving in unfamiliar places can be tiring, not to mention giving the dogs & I some exercise, eating, etc. Plus of course pulling over for "World's Biggest Ball of String" or whatever.
I find over a long haul trip that about 250 miles day is max, otherwise I get so burned out I have to stop and recuperate for a day, negating any gains if I tried to do more.

@AnneWimsey don't blame you a bit. I'm so tired of driving if we ever got an RV I'd pay extra to have the motor yanked out of it and it would become our official quest quarters.

I've spare rooms in my house if you want to visit and you'd be welcome, but it is a little difficult to drive here, from there. 😄

Yeah, it IS an amazing vehicle, but not so much on the flotation!

What a freaking amazing plan!

I would love to have a coffee with you! Alas, I am on the West coast.

If you ever come this way, though, it truly is beautiful. I'm sure you'd enjoy it.
