Just a little adjunct to the Evangeloon business from last weekend.
Last evening I received a phone call from Evangeloon's mother.
She said, quite nicely I might add, " I want to thank you most sincerely for your rendering assistance to my somewhat, not so stable, unpredictable, irrational son in his time of need, he is quite prone to be annoying, placing himself in danger, etc, etc, and I'd like to apologise for his completely uncalled for nastiness as well."
I thanked her for kind regards and thanks for my rendering assistance when needed but I also stated that " She had no need nor necessity to apologise upon his behalf imo, he IS an Adult, he should take responsibility for both his actions and comments, etc, that he makes so, imo, it IS he who should be apologising to me and most definitely NOT her.
She agreed with me whole-heartedly but added that I should NOT hold my breath while waiting for his apology, since he neither knows how to apologise or when an apology is due.
And that she, being financially well off, has deemed it sensible to send him a monthly allowance of $2,000 on the proviso that he remains in Broken Hill and NEVER again darkens her door or those of their family members.
I don't know how or what he has done to deserve such a proviso from his own mother and siblings but, imo, it must be something pretty darned awful.

I reckon if it's not your Atheism, it will be something else he'll be on about it. He sounds like a thorn in the side, no matter what, and its obvious his family suffered the brunt of that too, that his decent mother will pay him to keep him away from having negativity energy around the rest of her family.

In actual fact, he treats everyone like shit once he gets what HE wants from them.
This I know only too well given that HE almost destroyed my 30+ year friendship with the family who owns a 93,000 acre Sheep Grazing Property.
Out of sympathy I USED to take him out there with me to collect firewood for his and my own personal usages ONLY until he decided to start his own backyard Firewood selling business without consulting the Property Owners first.
Wow, what a lovely thing that she reached out to you. That does help put it into perspective doesn’t it? All the best with your continued trials.

I went back and read your previous posts about the incident. Sounds like a really lovely man, especially if his own mother is willing to pay a large monthly sum to keep him away. His god must be pretty weak to have been so distracted by you that he was unable to keep his precious lamb safe from a horrible fall. You're a better man than him, for sure. I hope he's not bringing down the property values.

I think for $2000 month I'd be happy not to ever darken the doorways of some of my extended family, not that I exactly darken it now. Holy cow, what a deal I have for you!!
