Done. My parents were not religious, but I was exposed to some horrendous religious experiences by my teachers and other people in society.

I took your survey and answered according to knowledge of biological parents. I was given up for adoption the day I was born. I do not consider my adoptive parents “step”. I feel like I may have thrown off the data, so I thought I would mention it in case you want to change the questions or criteria. FYI: I do know my biological family now.

Done but may be confusing. With both sets of parents dead I have only recently become aware of why they became religious and guided me that way. This revolves around my dead sister Deb who never made it home from the hospital after birth. My mother and stepfather wanted to know what happened to her religiously. Did some part of her survive? As for a real father I never knew him. I was easily set up for the Jesus myth.
