Positive/negative, give/take, yin/yang.... Any opinions?
I'm 38, and in my years I have learned that what is almost always true is: if it's hard now, it makes for easy later. If it's easy now, its gonna be hard later.
You can pretty much count on it.
My opinion is that people will reply to meaningless posts, while ignoring posts with more substance.
@SpikeTalon it would seem to allude to the general intellectual laziness that I suspect of humanity
Ultimate reality is non-dual: it's not two.
Duality is an illusion of relative reality.
Rock 'n roll--it's all good.
Not opposites , but Balance, the natural order of the universe
I feel it is necessary to have good and bad, yin and yang, not because I particularly like "bad", but if there is no "bad", how does one know what "good' is? I have a problem though when it seems that the world is overrun by evil; when only the practicioners of evil, currently, one example, Trump and his psycophants, are the only ones to enjoy the pleasures of life.
Shall we start with physics and the electrical charge on each part of an atom? Or should we charge right into the macro universe and electricty, magnetism, states of matter?
All relative. Objective truth in our subjective reality. Absolute truth, enlightenment, reachable or not- I don't know.
I don't think anything exists without its opposite, if you look hard and wide enough. Hence patterns in chaos. Given that opposites attract, usually negate each other, existence must only be temporary.
I completely agree. Yet in the same theme, if existence is temporary, wouldn't it also be permanent? Or am I overthinking things before coffee?
