Up-date Re-Problem solved.
Not so 'bright' Homeowner handyman arrived at my door about 30 minutes ago, seemingly a bit on the upset side since upon opening the carton of nail holes he requested from the Hardware Shop he found it was completely empty.
He raved on that he'd been ripped off and intended to lodge a complaint with the Manager, so I asked a simple question.
"What is a hole, ANY hole?"
He looked at me with a puzzled look and then replied, "Er, a hole is nothing, it doesn't have anything in it."
"Can you actually SEE a hole IF it has nothing around it show you that it IS a hole," I asked him.
He scratched his head, thought for a while and replied, " No, I don't think so, but how am I going to pick up one those holes and use it if I can't see it?"
"You believe in God don't you, so can you see God is that correct?" I asked him.
" No, no-one can see God but we know he is there, why do you ask?"
" Because, IF you can't see God but KNOW that he is there then doesn't the same apply to this box of holes, you can't see them but they MUST be there anyway, am I not right?" I replied.
A big smile came across his face and he said, " Oh yeah, you're right, the holes must be in the box, sorry I bothered you, I hope you'll forgive me, I'll go back and get started on the roof now."
