Monday, Monday. It is an appointment with a new neurologist. Nerve doctors, who have no problem with jamming you with pointy steel rods connected to radiofrequency generators. To see if my nerves conduct the electrical signals from the brain.
I am scared, to be honest. There also will be a spinal tap ( not the band) and an MRI involved.
One hopes. these things do not happen at the same time.
But all these torture events must happen because there is not one definitive blood test for MS.
So this weekend will be one big, loud rock 'n' roll party. A new snowstorm is predicted. Maybe I will have to cancel the appointment because of the weather, but no. I am not a coward.
The tattoo on my back says
Sá sem lifir án aga, deyr án heiðurs.
He who lives without discipline dies without honor.
I can do this.
Hugs. Sending you vibes of strength.
Thank you, Moolah.
