we prepare and wrap all ours...we rarely have problems

not a candle if you are careful and those Mexican prayer ones are cheap and could be good its not optimal but its cheap and could save your life or your kids

you are so right and that was the reason for the post in the first place my kid owns this place and we have pvc pipe and connections in our garage when others are out at lows leaving without anything we can fix our leaks ....and we have some water and a few cans of tuna nothing fancy or expensive and we don't try to take our water back again when the problem is over

exactly or like when so many were out of power close off a room and light a few candles you may not be toasty but you won't freeze and in a car when stranded in a blizzard one candle keeps the car very warm

@whiskywoman I drove a semi truck over the road and kept a camping mini propane bottle and burner. I don't doubt having a candle or few would be a bad ideal. But, a candle couldnt hold a candle to a propane burner. I did have to use to propane once in mountains at well below freezing and it got me by, but glad I had more than a candle.

@Word of course that would be optimal but in Colorado rental cars come with a candle in the glove box because they do work and are cheaper than propane...actually we should all be a little more prepared because we cannot rely on men like abbott to care...

sterno would work better of course we all need to learn from recent events and have a lil sompin somepin just in case like pvc for water leaks or busted pipes and propane candles water canned goods etc
