Having been raised Jewish, the sheer ridiculousness of some of the Christian mythology is something that stood out. It didn't fully follow that I saw the ridiculousness of the Jewish mythology, but it did help a little bit that we had some sort of process where at times we would look at someone else's beliefs and shake our heads in a strong way.
