Who believes in life after death
I believe that's a possibility. If in fact it happens, I don't know and it points more to not happening but you never know.
Iβll prolly ask to have whatβs left after cremation put in the nearest trash can. They will refuse.
That's what I told my sister- that I'm telling the kids to cremate me and they can throw my ashes in the trash for all I care. She said, "Over my dead body!"
Well... Iβm pretty sure life will go on after my death... even if itβs just the microbes that consume my body.. and the people who survive my death... yeah... Iβm pretty sure life will go on.
I will forgo embalming. Worms and other organisms will live off my flesh after I'm gone.
I'd love a natural burial straight in the ground, no embalming, no coffin, no vault. Just me and the worms.
There are burials where your remains nourish a small tree. I like this idea.
Other people will live normally after my flesh is rotting.
I am not the center of anything at all.
that is cult of sol invictus stuff wadr, nowhere in the bible
@anglophone, you are welcome to dispute that if you like?
If you were ask if one believed in Death after Life then the answer would a resounding one in the Affirmative.
But as to Life After Death, imo, No, once your body has died, it begins to decay almost immediately, NOTHING except the gases from the rotting flesh and organs, the wastes still in your bowels and bladder, some blood may seep from your eyes, nose, ears, etc, but NOTHING else ever seen nor proven EVER comes out of your body that remotely resembles a Soul/Spirit or anything else at all.
You, die, you are DEAD, you then begin to rot and decay and that IS all there is to it.
I am certain that there will be life after my death. That life won't be exclusively associated with my identity. But I care about that life, which will continue even after my death, even if that life can't be strictly defined as "my" life. My identity will cease to exist, but life will go on, for quite some time.
Ahh...a fence-sitter...in transition between Gnoticism and Agnosticism...between Theism and atheism.
Read this, @mrashleycain, then find where you fit in the two diagrams. Perhaps you shouldn't even be here?
Why does this question seem to worry everyone?
<Alfred E Neuman look>
