Am I the only atheist that doesnβt smoke pot?
I haven't smoked pot yet. If they ever legalize it though, I might try it to see if it helps my chronic pain.
Looks like a big no then I don't smoke either.
No, you are not. I don't smoke cigarettes either.
I don't either. I don't have a problem with other people doing it, nor do I think any part of the drug war is productive, but I don't break that law myself because I just don't see the attraction of mind-altering substances.
My sentiments exactly.
I don't and it's legal here in Washington. The last time was in 1986, maybe when I'm retired and need it for medicinal purposes
I havenβt in over 10 years. As you can see from the responses youβre not alone.
Best part of drugs is no one has to use them - well, recreationally anyway.
Anyone telling you different probably wants you for a customer.
I don't smoke it, but I eat it sometimes. It helps my arthritic hip and shoulder. My son in law also makes a salve with it that helps to.
I don't...I'm totally for legalization, but it makes me feel terrible.
Same
I find it more interesting that you make a connection between atheism and smoking weed. I suppose there is some preconception that those who reject religion have had their minds opened by some form of illicit drug. Still, I wouldn't consider the two to be joined at the hip.
Full disclosure: I LOVE smoking weed...just not every single day of my existence. Moderation, folks. ?
I stopped smoking pot about 30 years ago. I just got bored and moved onto coke, then my life fell apart, and I quit everything and went back to school. Last month I smoked pot with a friend, and I hated the way it made me feel so now I drink wine or the occasional beer.
My whole family does, but not me. Good 30+ years now. Maybe in the future.
I used to, but haven't for decades, but if there was an effort to legalize it here, I'd support it.
I don't smoke anything. I'm researching the literature on specific strains of cannabis in edible form for medical treatment of chronic pain but haven't begin using. I'm not a prohibitionist in principle, however I don't find myself having much in common with people who are conspicuous consumers. My theory is that because I really enjoy the disciplined study and practice of thinking as well as playful thinking, taking something that alters that is uncommon for me. In the past I have engaged in deliberate experiments with LSD 25 and a few other compounds and won't say in the future if a sound reason presents itself, further experiments with those same or new substances are out of the question. To date, I haven't personally met anyone who shares my perspective.
