Grasping one corner in your left hand obtain purchase on an adjacent corner.

If the chosen adjacent corner exceeds or resembles the length of your outstretched span then select the other adjacent corner.

Tuck these two corners under the mattress at the end of the bed.

Wiggle the other two corners under the opposite top corners.

I feel the same way. It annoys me because I never get it right the first time.

I bought a set of sheets recently. All four corners of the fitted sheet were tagged for the correct corner. It sure took a while for someone to think of that.
