I ve met Mary F in Tampa on 2000
Interviewed for the job w her , and she did not hired me . Told me to go work on my delivery , and give her better reasons of y I want to be at trauma team
months later , I sat across from her again , after enduring months at ortho surgical team , and told her pretty much that I am better than Jesus and to give me a shot ?
Mary F hired me that day . And for the next years she did not stop breaking my nerves daily . I couldn’t get it right even I was Jesus for real
In reality , Ms Mary gifted me w her advices , love, knowledge that no books can , and most important , taught me for the first x ever in my life : “ shut your mouth ma am “. Mary showed me the first ( for me ) building blocks of how to learn to control a temper , and how “ no will save u here, control your shit “.
22 yrs later , and even if I moved away from Tampa bay in 2003, she remained a friend and someone that I kept in touch and visited at least once a yr . Since covid , this is the first I seen of Mary F , since Jan 20

Made it to Tampa bay this wknd , visited Shirley ( life x friend ) , Shirley also worked at hospital at billing department , and ms Mary F , at 81 now , she came to see her baby . That will be my Royal ass . I am honored

It was a lovely catch , I talk to Shirley often , but it was valuable and priceless to see ms Mary F . Mary rarely speaks on phones or texts
Still independent , still the boss of her life , driving and living alone w her cats , ms Mary had nothing than love to give me again . And . I did it ! Gina and Shirley and Rojas ( other ED nurses that I kept in touch and came to meet us Saturday ), they were all like , no u won’t! She is 82 now , no way ! Oh yes friends I did ! :

Loud and clear in a restaurant full of people , just like the old times when ms Mary F used to walk in and we used to call her just like that ♥️♥️
It was great , it was just great ♥️♥️♥️

Back home now , life is getting back to normal at work , and minus the sadness and fears I have w the Russian asshole in Ukraine , life is rolling . Healthy as far as I know . Boys ok . Well . Mr Marcello is still an asshole / drama Queen , but hey , they take after their owners so let me calm my self here
