Focus on one objective until successful. Is this why some people are successful and others not? If you have 5 objectives, 5 different targets, you can't hit them all at the same time. Is this a law of the universe? Perhaps it's possible to hit 5 different targets at the same time, by you can't focus on 5 targets at the same time. Isn't it more reasonable to focus on one target at a time? After achieving one objective, move to the next. Russian proverb, if you chase 2 rabbits you won't catch one. Try driving to new York and California at the same time, you can't. Is this accurate?

Sometimes goals are complementary, or sequential, or hierarchical, or serendipitous. Just because there's more than one doesn't mean they are all going in different directions. As well, different people have different styles and skillsets. If you chase only one rabbit, it might get away too, and now you have no second rabbit to pursue. ?

I can focus on more than 1 thing at a time. Many people can.

Seemingly accurate

I think Occam's razor can be applied here. By avoiding making life too difficult by chasing too many goals at once you're better off pursuing you most important goal using whatever means are available to you.

It depends on if the objectives compliment each other or not. Mabey it's a question of examining the objectives realistically and working toward long term goals.

Depends on what one calls success, don't it?

If ones persons idea of success is a nice house and car with a career
And another persons idea of success is travel and experiences
Both can look at the other as unsuccessful
while they feel completely successful.

So before you try driving to either NYC or LA, you need to decide what you mean by success and what it is you want from life.

Depends on if the objectives need to be met short term or not. I think one can work on several longer term objectives as long as they are able to bounce back and forth between them smoothly enough and with focus.

I think the bigger issue is patience. Some objectives take time and regular forward momentum, even if a slow momentum. People get impatient, frustrated, perhaps overwhelmed and drop away from the path to those objectives.

But sometimes if those objectives are all pretty big, and each one needs a lot of attention, then yes, I suppose it's more important to focus on one at a time if you wish to get to all of them. Prioritize and tackle them according to importance and time needed.

Everyone have different habilities and skills. It takes time to find the best strategy to achieve your goals, that falls into place after you have determined what the goals are.... The balance is just execution. What am I doing today to get to where I want to go? Ask yourself this question everyday.

There can be synergy in multitasking. I can be traveling to New York and California at the same time. One task can
achieve many objectives. I am a strategist, I don't like to waste my effort.
