"their part of town".......that illuminates the problem that existed then and continues on today. The holier than thou folks have always believed that a town should be divided up - along racial...ethnic... religious...whatever - lines and everyone needed to stay in "their" part of town. Tribalism is getting worse every year that goes by and it's not hard to see where this is all headed. The desire for "Ethnic cleansing" - seems to be hard wired into human DNA - unfortunately. And our current 24/7 news cycle is probably doing more harm than good.
