If you had to pick a song to represent you, what would you chose? Post a link to your would be theme song so we can check it out!

This would be mine (I prefer this redo to the original).

This song speaks not only for me, but for many of my generation...

A song that represents me completely would be as long as my entire life. Here is just one issue:

I'm ashamed to be an American,
where the bullets fly so free,
and I won't forget all those who die
in every shooting spree.
But the Congress take their bribes
and refuse to save the day,
so the people keep on getting shot.
God fuck the NRA.

Alice Merton NO ROOTS. I am a tad computer illiterate, so I hope my attempt at posting the song works!

@MarvelAnn My pleasure. Now all I have to do is to learn me some new computer skills!

Hotel California. Reminds us that we create our own elaborate cages.

Here, this one is mine. It's funny because it took me almost a life time to figure out the lyrics and as such it will take me a lifetime to figure out life.

This song is pretty much the story of my life. Perpetually messing up and perpetually falling for the wrong person.

The Pogues’ version of “I’m a Man You Don’t Meet Every Day”, which by the way I also want played at my funeral.

Changes all the time, but this one stuck with me for a long time. The sound of the keyboards at the beginning is volumetric - it seems to describe an architectural space. And the lyrics could be interpreted as an architectural motive - to organize and make sense of things in the physical realm.
