I must add however the meaning of true happiness is having Enough and knowing no one in your life is going to beat the crap out of you several times a week....having Freedom
from Fear, and Peace.
In some ways I feel I was Very lucky to learn this at 18-19-20.

Alcohol doesn't bring any meaning to life. It, at best, provides a temporary escape from cares and worries. It also numbs inhibitions, which some experience as fun ... while they under the influence anyway.
