I completely innocently posted a silly word game where you were invited to post your "Porno Name".
You were asked to post your first pet's name..and combine it with your Mother's Maiden Name which would yield rather humorously your hypothetical Porn actor's stage name.
It soon became F.U.B.A.R as a couple of members pointed out that this was a fishing scam to get personal information ..ie. Passwords.

I was mortified..but I deleted the post because this was absolutely and clearly not my intention, I did not wish any members to be compromised in any way...however unlikely.

I was embarrassed that I didn't vet myself before posting that. It was funny though.

I don’t know about ‘embarrassed’, but I’d like to think someone could change my mind about some of my beliefs if those beliefs are incorrect. And none of us can be 100% correct about everything. So here’s hoping for some interesting and enlightening conversations.

Yes just a few seconds ago lol. I posted a very trolly poll on the abortion/men’s rights nonsense to piss off/call out the ignorance of one of our dimmer bulbs here and shortly decided that it would accomplish nothing. Even though I think it was funny and he’s a moron, this community is just too nice for me to troll within in good conscience.

Sometimes but it doesn't matter as much to me because I'm separated by the internet from the actual people that read it. I've deleted a few things but not as often as I do elsewhere like Facebook where I have actual family and coworkers and may have bigger consequences.
