I like seeing other animals having fun.
A lot of cattle ranching around here. Saw a lone cow near the fence with a calf running around her....just running in a circle, happy to be a little cow. Things like that make life enjoyable.
They're lovely!
Thank you! My two Nubin-Nigerian Dwarf goats just kicked my but for the second day in a row. Yesterday, they knocked me down in the grass. Today they knocked me down on the gravel driveway. Thank heavens I wasn't near enough to the 15' drop off to tumble down that again. My 70 year old bones can't take too much more of this stuff!
I grew up with goats. Loads of fun until they got on the roof of my grandfather's new Chrysler that had a vinyl top. No more goats, sad... But, I did look good in the saddle, ha ha.
Goats are delightful creatures and you are fortunate to be able to have an interactive relationship with them.
I LOVE GOATS! Lucky you! How many do you have?
I have two. 1 year old Nubin-Nigerian Dwarf goats just kicked my but for the second day in a row. Yesterday, they knocked me down in the grass. Today they knocked me down on the gravel driveway. @MidnightSolo OK...you're gonna' LOVE this story!
I volunteer at a large zoo...we have Dwarf Nigerian goats in a yard for children to brush, pet, etc. Well, one day, Irma (a keeper) came to me with a VERY SERIOUS LOOK on her face.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
She said, "Pam" (that's my name)...."I have a big problem and need your help."
"Of course, Irma...what do you need?"
"I need you to go into the nursery stall and help socialize the four baby goats."
"Oh, Irma! What a terribly difficult task!"
I sat there in the stall, surrounded by goat poop, while these incredibly charming little critters climbed all over me! DAMN--that was fun!
