Why?

I have only been to border towns in Mexico and Canada. In Canada culture and language wouldn't be a problem. So Canada would be my choice.

We are Americans, stay and fix it! I don’t want to leave becausd the going gets tuff. I’m struggling to think of another country I would want to live in, permanently. If I had to pick in the next 3 seconds the UK, I know people there, they speak English and it’s an easy place to be a vegan.

I like your attitude on this -- It's not time to bolt for the door yet. Let's see what happens after the mid terms.

That's right fuck him. I'm staying he is leaving.

Although I am half Japanese, and I love Japan to visit, I would not go there to live. I would go to Panama or Spain...I do speak Spanish...and I like warm weather...I have looked at the immigration policies of other countries and could go to many of them since I would not be a drain on them and have certain required skills, but, to be honest, I have lived everywhere and I love the USA the best. I am staying and fighting for us until the very end.

@OlderMusicGeek It would be so easy for me to just sit back and enjoy my retirement in utter bliss and comfort but the thought of leaving and not helping those who cannot speak for themselves and the younger generation makes me sick to my stomach and is not who I am, so yeah, I am staying and fighting for the next group...they better step up to the plate, because if not, I might just leave and say to hell with them...

@OlderMusicGeek I have high hopes that they will indeed pay more attention and get active...it took the Vietnam war for me to be active at that age and we changed our world, so yeah...I support them and will do so as long as I can

@sweetcharlotte If I truly thought things would get that bad, I would probably go to southern Spain...I have been eyeing that area for some time as a retirement place anyway...but for now, it is PA and then NC...good old USA...

I've lived in Australia and England. It would take a crap tonne of money to make even think of moving to the States. New Zealand would be top of my list. Reasonable social services, gob-smackingly beautiful, Kiwis are good people, I can settle indefinitely on my Australian passport and if the world goes to hell in a handbasket, you're a long way from trouble.

Sweden I like that language and the culture and the food

Me, too.

Return to Kenya ??. Or maybe some other African country.

Weirdly, Ireland, which is mostly Catholic. Its sheer beauty is what draws me.

It would probably be one of the progressive, socialist Nordic countries.

New Zealand, Germany, UK, or Ireland.

I have said this before.... I would go to Bangkok in Thailand to drink and party my way to my grave at Sukhumvitt soi 4....... I am empty nester, I might just do that some day. Just so we are clear, It has absolutely nothing to do with politics, I love this country no matter what.

Love America right or wrong. When it's right keep it right, when it's wrong make it right.
