They won't let me in...and wisely so. I'm in one of those inane red states that NY has put a travel quarantine order on.
@wolf041 they'll let you in, you only have to quarantine in some place for 14 days. Sorry, but we have to protect ourselves from the horribly mismanaged situations of some other states. Millions of us worked really hard to beat the pandemic and we don't want to have to do that all again.
@BitFlipper you folks shouldn't have to fo it again just because a bunch of red states can't get their act together.

You're lucky to have an intelligent governor. As of noon today out of 309 facilities being tracked, Florida has 47 hospitals with no available ICU beds and 25 hospitals with just one available ICU bed, according to Florida’s Agency for Healthcare Administration. These numbers will fluctuate throughout the day.
The Coronavirus is totally out of control in Florida and many other states.

@AnneWimsey Yes, exactly the point. Almost ANY kind of serious injury means you're less likely to receive the necessary attention and treatment here. Our chief goal these days is to hunker down and wait out the pandemic... that is, until a "good" vaccine is ready and available.
Well Done New York. Andrew Cuomo is a rock star. And the people of New York are amazing. Been to New York a few times and I love the attitude of New Yorkers. They don't tolerate bullshit and they listened to their Cuomo...not Trump.

Many states are hotbeds.. NYC is surrounded...
@Cutiebeauty most of this area (CT especially) quarantines (2 weeks) anybody coming here
@AnneWimsey how do they enforce that?
@barjoe it is expected CT residents will have enough self-interest to "police" their guests. We are a good state to be in right now......
