Here's another Christian-nationalist MAGA miss: Nancy Mace, US Rep., SC 1st Congressional District.

The inconvenient truth that Christian nationalists continually try to sweep under the rug is that many of the country's founders we're NOT Christians, but Deists. Founding fathers who were non-Christian Deists include Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Paine, and, arguably, John Adams and even George Washington (while the latter two's beliefs were complex, they certainly did not hew to Christian orthodoxy).

Thomas Jefferson was so skeptical about supernaturalism that he compiled a version of the New Testament in which he cut out all references to supernatural acts or events. What remained came to be known as the "Jefferson Bible" (a text that is considered heretical in Christian circles).

Aside from the founders' individual beliefs, the most important evidence that the USA was NOT founded as a Christian nation is found in the very first Amendment to the Constitution: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion..." That's the whole ballgame, folks! 😂

Trump Administration/MAGA officials are not shy about announcing their religion to the world.

Christian nationalism is the prime policy mover of MAGA, whose members often wear their religion on their sleeves (or around their necks).

MRFF because there has to be a choice and Jesus should have nothing to do with it. If you cave in to Christian Nationalism you become no different than all those other religions that you dislike.

It's hit and miss. It seems if you only make a single post, it is more likely to stay up for some reason than if you make multiple posts.

I wish @Admin would get around to fixing the bugs on the site...

@snytiger6
I think that is a wish we all have. Fingers crossed.
