Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I recently had the chance to watch a Documentary where a similar excavation and research expedition was done and discovered the precise location and course of the channel dug by Ancient Egyptians from the Nile to the Pyramids of Giza was used to transports blocks of stone often weighing at 10 tons and more by water craft built especially for that purpose.
The expedition even built a craft to the exact measurements, using the exact same methods and materials as the Egyptians, loaded a block of stone weighing 10 tons onto it and sailed it across the Nile from one side to the other proving conclusively that it could be done.
