Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote, When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
Of course, he wrote this as a Sherlock Holmes quote, however, it is a statement that can be applied to many things.
In my research to find themes for fantasy and science fiction stories I have stripped down the fiction of science fiction and applied the theory to the human existence equation.
Just this evening I came to a discovery of unrefutable truth after eliminating the impossible that the human being as we know it has existed in the same form and is a made thing, a biochemical electronic hybrid device that can be shorted out, switch of and turned on and programmed and reprogrammed like any other machine.

Sorry, I don’t think you’ve elimated all of the impossible alternatives if you’re only left with humans as biochemical, programmable devices.

No different than a machine, just a little more biochemical? Hmm. I suppose. I just never stopped to think about it. Why is it important to put that kind of title on it?
