Newly hatched Polyphemus moth caterpillars. I raise these guys every year, but this group is heterozygous for melanism. If I can keep this line going, I should have some melanistic adults in 2020. Top pic is the melanistic form and one from the line I'm raising. Bottom is a typically colored polyphemus.
