Time for another update on my wild bee hotel. I opened the shelters and found several cocoons and discarded the infected ones.

#3 infected
#4 cocoon size comparison to a penny. The black cocoons (top) are still unidentified.
These fellows will be kept from extreme cold all winter and released in spring.
Save the wild bees!!
