We made friends with a carpenter bee today. They are so Quick! My son named this one Sonic

@OpposingOpposum They are very curious critters. I hiked most of the AT and at one shelter I passed there must have been 2 thousand carpenter bees. I didn't overnight at the shelter, but sat at a nearby picnic table and watched them. They are amazing.
Neat looking bee. I think they call those ones mason bees, but Sonic is a fitting name.
