My Argentinian black-and-white Tegu is just coming out of her first brumation. I named her Pandora. She is not named after the music streaming Pandora. Anybody know what she is named after?

Let's see, Pandora was the first human woman created by Zeus and Pandora's box is an artifact in Greek mythology.
Pandora is also the name of one of Saturn's moons.
There are also a number of cities, towns, and actresses and writers named Pandora.
Pandora is also the name of the planet in the Borderlands game series and in the movie Avatar.
There is also a character named Pandora in the Guitar Hero video game series and in DC Comics.

Ah-h the legend from ancient Greece !
She's a beautiful creature. I'll assume you know about the need to handle her regularly. Otherwise, they can be quite a handful when fully grown.
The folks in south Florida have learned that all too well, as Tegus are invasive there ! They are decimating native animals by consuming various eggs, and have munched on people's gardens, not exactly winning folks over. And yet, they are quite beautiful.
