One of the local rehabbers brought in a young squirrel with maloccluded incisors. The bottom teeth have grown into the roof of her mouth and have caused a fistula. Dr. Ryan and I trimmed her teeth back as far as we could, humanely. Now the rehabber is going to keep an eye on her and see if the squirrel will be able to keep her teeth worn down on her own. If not, sadly, the prognosis is grim.
