A butterfly that was busy enough I could photograph. I will leave the ID up to the experts. It was mesmerizing to watch. It spread its wings out like it was collecting solar power and the colors gradually changed.

Thanks, Leafhead. Have you noticed the change in color? Is it a typical phenomenon for butterflies in general? And what was it eating? It was on moist ground limestone.
@AstralSmoke I have seen butterflies cluster in moist spots. maybe thermal regulation or a microsip
@btroje This one looked like it was scavenging and at the same time it looked like it was sunning itself. The wings glowing made me think it was getting energy somehow from the sun. Probably just my interpretation of events. At least there's no harmful imagination occurring.
