I'm so glad that I found this group! I have had a love for critters since I was little. Where I grew up in Pa I was always catching snakes and salamanders. Now I'm living on Oahu and having fun catching things that I didn't have the chance to back home, like cane toads and giant centipedes.

I can't believe what I see! you're touching a cane toad? we have them as a purposely introduced species here in australia, & they developed into a plague, muscling in on the realm of amphibians & taking over. but I always thought the secretion from their skin is too toxic to touch them.
