Okay, I just joined this group. I don't have any pets, and I'm not home enough to properly care for them, but I rescue animals when possible and necessary here are some of the more interesting ones:

@Insectra here's another beautiful PCV timber. This is extremely dark even for a black phase.

It is great you rescued these critters. Bet you had a hard time finding a home for them.

Not at all. Some remote forest area where they can locate a den and avoid humans is perfect.

Thank you for rescuing them.

Are any of these danger noodles?

Timber rattlesnake, copperhead, and another timber rattlesnake. These all stand out for various reasons. The first one came from my own backyard, the second was the first time that someone who told me that they had a copperhead actually had a copperhead, and the last one is the only olive phase timber rattlesnake I've seen.

@JimG that is a nice sized copperhead. THey are very beautiful snakes. sad they are a danger noodle . I freaked out and killed one once. I still feel guilty. I have since moved rattlesnakes

@btroje I saw venomous snakes as a threat when I was younger. I've learned they are far more threatened than we are.

That's the largest copperhead I've ever seen.
